Professional Statement
I like to know my patients for who they are when they are not a patient - their interests, profession, passions. I often discuss mutual areas of interest, whether culture, recreation or spirituality. And while I practice evidence-based medicine, I try to align myself with the patients beliefs and preferences - and become their ally.

Dr Maziels notified I would have to find another Primary Care Dr, because he will be concentrating on his headache clinic and I do not have any information on a Dr that would be a good Diabetes Dr, that I should look at and check with the Insurance company to see if I could see him. I am feeling left out in I do not know which Dr's handle people with Diabetes.

Dr will only. cover one malady per visit I have multiple serious terminal problems I MUST choose the one and how do I know which is more serious? I did not mention vision problems. It turned out my carotid artery was 85% blocked and I had to have surgery! I don't have the medical knowledge to determine which symptoms to bring to his attention when I can choose only one problem.
