Professional Statement
John Gunselman, D.O., is a board-certified urologist with adult general urology experience and fellowship training in urologic oncology. He joined The Center For Men's And Women's Urology in 2015. Dr. Gunselman was drawn to urology because of the impact it can make in a patient's quality of life. He has a special interest in treatment of urologic cancers and completed a clinical fellowship at Yale Medical School to focus on techniques for treatment of kidney, prostate, bladder and other genitourinary cancers. When appropriate Dr. Gunselman utilizes minimally-invasive technology, such as laparoscopy and the daVinci robot to maximize functional outcomes and reduce recovery time. In his free time, Dr. Gunselman enjoys spending time with his wife. He enjoys running, cycling, swimming, hiking and other outdoor activities.
