Professional Statement
I was drawn to orthopedic surgery because I wanted to improve the quality of life of my patients and help them continue to do the activities they love. With pediatric patients, I have a unique opportunity to care for short-term and long-term orthopedic problems that can improve their lives for years to come. I love making a connection with each child I care for, whether it's a sports injury, scoliosis, cerebral palsy, or a wide range of other conditions. I also enjoy working as a team with the patient, parents, therapists, and other physicians. I was born and raised in San Francisco. After completing my medical training in the Midwest and East Coast, I am excited to be back on the West Coast and in a great city like Portland! I enjoy photography, sports and travel. I have been involved in mission work in India and several Caribbean nations, and I hope to continue to do so throughout my career.
