Originally from northeast Ohio, Dan brings 30 years of extensive surgical experience in orthopedic surgery and a variety of other surgical specialties to bear while performing his duties as a physician assistant. His experience ranges from trauma, total joint replacement, spinal surgery, upper and lower extremity surgical techniques, as well as vascular, obstetrics and gynecology, and general surgical experience.
He completed his training as a physician assistant at George Washington University and earned a master's degree in Orthopedics from the University of Nebraska. He is currently a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Dan approaches patient care with the philosophy, "Listen to the patient. Be honest with the patient. Never stop caring." He understands the importance of establishing effective communication and encouraging his patients to take active roles in their care. "Each patient deserves the opportunity to ask questions and receive clear answers so they can make informed decisions regarding treatment options."
Dan moved to the Pacific Northwest with his wife, Linda. He enjoys hiking and general outdoor activities, photography, restoring antique furniture, brewing micro-beer and creating some of his award-winning chili.
