Professional Statement
I believe in partnering with my patients for their care. This includes first and foremost being a good listener and diagnostician. Once diagnosed, many medical conditions have a wide variety of approaches and treatment options. I believe in thoroughly educating my patients on all possible approaches and partnering with them to implement the treatment strategies of their choice. I am a skilled surgeon if a patient chooses to pursue that avenue of treatment, but a patients choice and comfort are my paramount concerns.

I was so happy when I left, I felt cared for, I felt like he really enjoys helping people and that he makes an impact on the world, making it a better place for us moms/women who can feel anxiety over these types of appointments. He made me feel like I was part of the regular family and was kind and respectful. what an amazing example of what it can and should be like. I have not had good experiences in the past and I was in awe at how well I was treated. This man deserves a medal for honor . thank you so much!

Dr. Brinkley took the time to answer my questions, and give me treatment options and planned with me the next steps.

Dr. Brinkley always takes time to relate with his patients. He is awesome.

Dr Brinkley is the best doctor a patient could hope to see. He is humble, patient and very knowledgeable and shares as much as possible to ensure the best outcome for patients. I have recommended him to many friends and will continue to do so.

He just kept focusing on the fact that I needed to lose weight. Which for years I have been told that, even while in the military at my thinnest. I understand the concerns about it but you would assume he would stop making comments about it after I told him that I work out and eat healthy. It made me very uncomfortable after awhile. If I don't come back to him that would be the reason why. I came in for a follow-up from a surgery not because I wanted a lecture about my weight. Other then that he was great. I'd like to go back, but I don't want to be worried about getting told that I needs to lose a few lbs. I already know that and have been working towards that. And how does he know that I haven't already lost a ton of weight? It was my first time meeting me.

I was very happy with my Dr. He explained everything and relieved a lot of stress, I was having on what was going on.

the care provider made the whole experience uncomfortable, he spent like 2 minutes looking at me. he kept saying "are you sure he's not tiger woodsing you" in response to my monogamous relations. he started talking about my acne which was not why I was in and trying to convince me to change my birth control to the ring even though I like mine. also made a comment about how he couldn't see pain in my eyes. inappropriate behavior and pushy

I don't disagree with the medical advice that Dr Brinkley gave me. However, I have never had a doctor speak in a more condescending manner to me than he did. The visit was humiliating.

Dr Brinkley makes you feel comfortable when you visit.

No complaints-he's excellent.

I was told I had a cystocele this appointment but not when I came in 8 months ago . I felt he did not understand my condition nor did he explain it well on first visit. [...] He also did not explain the musculature of the perineum as well the first visit as to why I felt no improvement from the kegel (sp?) exercises. I wished he had called me to ask if I had any questions following the ultrasound rather than leaving the write up that was sent as the only follow-up. It had words I did not understand from the radiologist. [...] He was much more thorough in this visit than the one in June of 2016 when I first came because of this same problem.

he the best

Dr. Brinkley was more knowledgeable and explain things to me in a way in which I could understand. And spent quite a bit of time with me, which I am grateful for
