Dr. didn't listen to me, even when I clearly stated that I disagreed with his assessment. He didn't return my phone calls, making his MA call me, then talk to him, and then call me again, then talk to him again, and then return my phone call the next day, etc. Even when I was getting worse, and the medicine he gave me made it worse, he still didn't call me. I ended up in the ER over the weekend due to the meds which I finally discontinued.

When I originally called to get in on Friday March 16th, I had to wait until Tuesday March 20th. I told the receptionist, i was broke out in a rash on my left side. I didnt know at that time it was shingles. Because I had to wait so long to get in, it was too late to take any medicine for my condition.

No one in your system can figure out what is wrong with me. I feel quite bad and was disappointed I had to wait 10 days to see someone to maybe get some help

Dr. Atabeygi truly cares about his patients. A few months back, after phoning me after hours to have me go to the ER for anemia revealed by blood draws he ordered earlier that day, he came personally to my hospital room the next morning to see how I was doing after my transfusion.

[...] provider should insisted on Endoscopy and explained how it was done. Left to my own devices I got compllete info from my wife's Colonoscopy dr. It was not explained to me that I would put OUT, by primary Dr. Which resulted in a 2 1/2 month delay. I now have Cancer in 5 places!!!!

Dr. Atabeygi was very kind and & supportive during a very bad time. He made himself available during a health crisis there was nothing really he could do but answer our questions. But his kindness and his concern was like balm to our frazzled nerves. IT is very rare to find such kindness in a doctor.

[...] He was a little late for the appointment but the staff were very courteous and found a way to work him in. He was not sick but needed a referral for a swallowing study. We had a positive experience with Dr. Atabagie and his office staff.

Upon my initial visit as a follow-up from an visit to ER for a fall from 6 feet off a ladder onto concrete surface with my heel absorbing most of the fall, I expressed my concern about further injury because of the daily falls as I tried to manipulate crutches. When I would begin to lose my balance I would forget and weight bear on the injured foot in an attempt to right myself. Because of the instense pain, I would fall again, twisting the injured foot. I asked about a boot or something to protect the injured foot and for a referral to an orthopedist as suggested by the ER doctor. This doctor seemed unconcerned about the falling but said he would send in an RX for a boot. He was very vague about how I would obtain it, i.e. either in the mail or they will call you. When I had heard nothing after 4 more days, I called the office relayed my concern that I had heard nothing and restated my concern of additional injury because I was continuing to fall daily. The person who was to call me, was to call me back by mid-day but I heard nothing until the following Mon. Now 9 days after the initial injury, the pain was still instense and impossible to weight bear and told that the doctor had forgotten to send the RX for the air cast. The following day, I was seen for PT and the therapist after LISTENING to my concern, examining my foot and testing my inability to weight bear said she was sending a report urging that I have a CT scan and be referred to an orthopaedist. I then called to see if I could be seen my my primary care provider but she would not be available to another week so I agreed to see Dr. Atabegy again. He was very apologetic this time and ordered a CT scan which shows a fracture. At 15 days after the accident, I am still falling, do not have an air cast and am still waiting for a referral to an orthopaedist!

He was arrogant & dismissive toward me. He gave me wrong info by telling me I could cut an extended release tablet in half but I knew better & the pharmacist confirmed that it is not advisable to cut ER tablets in half. He was unhelpful in every way.

Dr. Atabeygi did not minimize my concerns, nor did he make me feel guilty like I was bothering him with a concern that was too "mild" to be treated.

First time visit with my assigned Primary Care Provider, Amir Atabeygi. He spent considerable time with me and was very attentive and I could tell he was actually listening. My experience with Dousedaicon health care providers has been very positive overall.
